Welcome to an experiment in social coordination, one which promotes human flourishing, self-direction, and is free from censorship. For the last several years we've been building the framework of an association to support human thriving in the San Juan Archipelago. ARK Social is a cooperative devoted to creating a thriving local region where individuals, businesses and communities have access to the resources needed for healthy living and working.

Vision: ARK Social will connect individuals who can govern themselves cooperatively, who communicate & coordinate actions effectively, and who wish to participate in a local economy. We take responsibility to thrive together and promote life everywhere. We offer access to resources that support individuals in a flourishing community and encourage stewardship of resources and the protection of life.

Mission: We operate in our sacred honor and strive to be truthful, constructive, and cooperative with fellow members and within the community. We’ll provide the digital tools to connect and coordinate with others through featuring community-generated events, supporting local businesses, investing in community projects, and other ways to live and flourish in this beautiful place.
